ABOUT ME

Andrés Rosero is a university lecturer, visual artist, and transdisciplinary creator with a focus on emerging technologies and digital narratives. Trained in the Arts and holding a Master’s degree in Digital Humanities, his work blends technology, memory, and fiction to create experiences that emotionally resonate with audiences. He has developed projects across the fields of culture, education, entertainment and architecture, always emphasizing storytelling and user experience.

Among his most notable works is his participation in Develaciones: A Song to the Four Winds, a stage production commissioned by Colombia’s Truth Commission as an act of remembrance and recognition of the victims of the country’s armed conflict. He also contributed to the opera The Last Day of Francisco Pizarro, integrating 3D animation, videomapping, and interactivity into a theatrical context.

In the field of expanded realities, he collaborated with the Indigenous association ACAIPI on Sacred Interactive Mapping on the Origin of the Seed, a project funded by the Colombian Ministry of Culture, where he developed six digital applications to help preserve ancestral knowledge through technology. He also took part in Kii Rtk+ Bare Hako. The Seed Mothers, an augmented reality book that honors ancestral feminine wisdom from the Amazon. In the educational sector, he led the development of the video game ¿Qué tanto sabes? (How Much Do You Know?), aimed at preventing substance use among adolescents.

Currently, his research focuses on virtual humans and their emotional dimension in digital environments. He leads the project @Lucy_fears, a virtual human with over 120,000 followers on TikTok, exploring new forms of storytelling through artificial intelligence and interactive fiction.
